3 days Poland, Belgium, and France

As part of the United States’ ongoing consultations with our allies, President Obama is traveling to Poland, Belgium, and France, June 3-6, 2014. While in Warsaw, the President will hold bilateral meetings and join other world leaders in commemorating the Polish Freedom Day, marking the 25th anniversary of Poland’s emergence from Communism. From Poland, the President will travel to Brussels for the G-7 Leaders’ Summit, and will then continue on to France to participate in commemorations marking the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

Carole in Poland Part 1  Carole talks about her trip to Poland, Brussels and Normandy. The topics include the warm reception President Obama got, what Carole saw in Warsaw while she was there and the rise of Anti-Semitism in Europe.

Harriette Thompson

She is 91 years young and recently smoked the competition at the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon. She finished the 26.2-mile course in seven hours, seven minutes and 42 seconds, shattering the marathon distance record for 90-to94-year old women by more than an hour and a half. He average pace was 16 minutes per mile. She will talk about her youthful vigor!

Steve will discuss the GAO (Government Accountability Office) and financing of Long term care.
